Kid City is aptly named from the words in Matthew 5:14-15 – “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill.” (MSG)
Children's Minister: Mallorie Moore
At RCC we are truly blessed to have Mallorie’s heart and talent! At any point during the weekend, you might see Mallorie loving on kids in Kid City or singing and drumming on stage as a vital part of our Worship Team. Mallorie loves 1 Corinthians 13:1, “If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal,” because it reminds her to always love God and love others.

Kid City ages birth – 4K and K-5
At Rosewood Community Church, we believe that children are “here to be the light” to the world.
Toddler Town Nursery and Preschool is a place where we care for babies and toddlers in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. Our trained leaders are committed to taking care of your kids and helping them learn about Jesus’ love through creative play, songs, and activities.
In our K-5 area, we teach using a Bible-based, interactive curriculum, engaging worship songs, lessons, and games. Your kids will learn about God’s love and begin to understand how to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
When your family arrives for the Worship Experience, please stop by our children’s check-in area. You are welcome to take your Nursery/Preschool aged children to Kid City. Children aged K-5 are asked to stay with their parents during the worship experience prior to the message, then will be escorted to the K-5 Kid City area.
We believe that the Church is in partnership with parents. We recognize that in the formative years, foundations are being laid regarding a child’s personal walk with Christ. We will strive to not just teach them the Bible, but also to help them discover their spiritual gifts, talents, and individual purpose so that they may go out into the world and then leave it better than they found it. Your K-5 children will bring home Family Connect activities each week which can help you have an open dialogue of the verse and main point of Sunday’s lesson.
